Sample Data: Invasive Species Exercises

Monitoring invasive species is a dynamic process; one in which the data collected will vary by the field method as well as the areas in which you will be sampling. It is best to take the field data collection methods in the Laboratory Activities Section, and create data sheets from those methods combined with the data that you want to collect. You can then create data files with NIISS that you can use for both field data collection, and data contribution to NIISS.

To get a feel for the data that you will be collecting while monitoring invasive species, you are welcome to take a look at the data that others have contributed to the NIISS site. The data on the website is categorized, so you can search for previously existing data by location, species, project, or map.
