Tulip Gardens

Plants are very sensitive to changes in climate and habitat conditions. But different plants will react differently, so it is important to have a dataset for a particular species of plant from all over the United States, to be able to track responses to changes in seasonality, climate, geographic location, sunlight, and other factors. Journey North is an organization that gives students from around the Northern Hemisphere a chance to track these changes, by growing and monitoring the life stages of tulips through planting and monitoring a tulip garden.
